Themistocles gives his
battle speech:
My brothers steady your hearts;
look deep into your souls, for your mettle is to be tested this day. If in the
heat of battle you need a reason to fight on, an idea which you will give up all
that you will ever have, you need only to look at the man who fights at your
side, this is the why of battle, this is the brother hood mended hams.
An unbreakable bond made
stronger by the crucible of combat. You will never be closer than with those
who you shed your blood with, for there is no nobler course than to fight with
those who will lay down their lives for you. For you fight strong today, you fight
for your brothers, fight for your families, most of all you fight for Greece. And
their one thing to make sure of when the fight starts,
Calisto, Scylla son asked:
What’s that?
Themistocles replied: Don’t
get killed on the first day
The first battle was an
easy defeat, so was the second.

Happy moments as Themistocles gives his winning speech:
Now they will fear us, now
they will fear the Greek men of arms,
The soldiers responded: He
is right
Fear the Greek fighting men,
Fear his sword, his shield, Fear his love for mother Greece, But most of all
fear his freedom.
Their third encounter was a
big loss. Artemisia flooded the sea with oil. She tactically set the Greek
little ships on fire, before she shot three arrows that hit their target, Scylla
(one of Themistocles best men). She had also sent a suicide bomber to Themistocles
himself. When Themistocles discovered he tried to kill the bomber but it
exploded before he could act. She succeeded in blowing up his ship.
Will the Greece eventually
win or would they be remembered as one who tried but failed?
