Four (Theo James) plans to
train Tris (Shailene Woodley) ahead of the final test to become a Dauntless
(The Brave). He takes into his mind through the simulation test, teaching her
how a Dauntless thinks and how to pass the test without been detected as a
divergent, because if she fails she dies.
Four and Tris find themselves lying on few
strings of cables bridge connecting two building, Tris suggested they jump but
Four refused. He claims as a Dauntless, they have to find a way out and not
bend the rules, though it’s a simulation. They walked on the narrow brigde to
the next building.
In the building the
suddenly found themselves trapped and the walls started compacting. Four asked
Tris as a Dauntless what is the way out. She suggested stopping the walls from
compressing. Looking at the floor she saw some nails which she inserted to the bottom
of the compacting wall. Just in time the wall compacting ceased, the nail had
obstructed its flow.
The next simulation was a
girl strapped down to a chair. Four explains as a Dauntless they are to follow
orders no questions, he is to kill the girl. He heads to pick a gun on the
table not too far from her. He picks the gun, pointing at her but looks away
before he shoots.
